About the job
On the palliative care unit, we care for patients in the final stages of life and work closely with their relatives. Today, we have 8 care beds, all in single rooms, with good opportunities for relatives to stay overnight if desired. We are a team of nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors. We collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and social workers. We also have a Palliative Care Team that maintains contact with patients in their homes.
For us, it is important to work with development and continuous improvements to offer the best possible care for our patients, as well as an stimulating working environment for our employees.

We want you who work with us on the palliative care unit to feel that you make a difference every day.
A recognized nursing degree is a requirement for the position, and if you have a few years of work experience, it is an advantage. Great importance will also be placed on personal suitability.
Selection and interviews will take place continuously during the application period.
If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will participate in the Clinical Foundation Year, which is our introduction program. The Clinical Foundation Year is mandatory and lasts during the first year of your employment with us. The Clinical Foundation Year includes introduction days, supervision and education days, as well as observation days. The purpose of the Clinical Foundation Year is to create good conditions for newly graduated nurses to strengthen their theoretical knowledge and practice skills, as well as to grow into their new profession.
