About the position

We are now looking for assistant nurses for care and support, with placements at our elderly care homes. In this role, you will contribute daily to creating value for people. Your daily work offers great variety, and you have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the quality of life for our residents.

At our elderly care homes, your responsibilities include providing care for the elderly and working according to each facility's individual implementation plan in accordance with the Social Services Act, covering both daily care and social activities. Delegation of certain healthcare tasks from the responsible nurse is common. Three of our elderly care homes are located in central Tidaholm, and one is located 8 km outside Tidaholm in Ekedalen.

Your duties also include documenting and registering performed interventions, as well as carrying out health and medical care tasks based on delegation from licensed personnel.

The positions are permanent full-time roles (day/evening/weekend), with immediate start or as agreed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse and can provide a certificate of protected professional title. It is an advantage if you have experience working in elderly care and have previously had delegation for medication and insulin. Supervisor training and experience from Lifecare are considered merits.

Basic IT skills and computer proficiency are required, as computers and smartphones are used in the work for documentation and registration. Since a large part of your duties involves communication and documentation, good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and able to handle stress. You should have a good ability to work independently. To thrive in this role, you need a genuine interest in working with people, thereby demonstrating a good and respectful attitude towards both colleagues and residents. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

To be employed with the title of assistant nurse, you must be able to provide the protected professional title certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
