Are you a licensed psychologist with experience working with children and young people? Then you might be the person we are looking for.

The role at UPH Sundet involves meeting children and young people with mental health issues at an early stage. The work includes conducting assessments and implementing interventions, such as counseling and evidence-based psychological treatment for mild symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, and sleep disorders. You will also provide support and advice to parents, both individually and in groups, either in person or digitally.

Another key part of UPH's mission is to collaborate with surrounding services such as specialized care, social services, school health services, and other health centers in the area. The patient group consists of children and young people aged 6–18.

The unit is located in the same premises as Stora Höga Medical Center & Rehab. UPH Sundet is part of Läkarhusen i Väst, which since its launch in 2018 has consisted of four health centers & rehab units as well as one UPH.

UPH Sundet is a separate unit but has close cooperation with the health center. Together, we form a wonderful team of approximately 40 employees.

The position is a parental leave replacement with good opportunities for extension and permanent employment.

Commuting options to Stora Höga are excellent, with highway, bus, and train connections (approx. 30 minutes from both Gothenburg and Uddevalla).

About You

You are a licensed psychologist with experience working with children and young people. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the main focus. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
