Joint Position for Tidaholm and Tibro Municipalities

Do you want to help develop the future of close-to-home care and support services? We are now looking for a Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR) in a joint position between Tidaholm and Tibro municipalities.

About the Role

As MAR, you have overall responsibility for quality and patient safety within the rehabilitation area. You work closely with operations, managers, and other key functions, playing a vital role in developing structures, working methods, and follow-up systems.

The position is organized as a collaboration between two municipalities, offering a broad and varied assignment with excellent opportunities to make a difference.

Employment and Working Arrangements

Tidaholm Municipality is the employer, and the position is located within the Development Unit. Your direct manager is the Head of Development.

The work is distributed between Tidaholm and Tibro, with office spaces available in both municipalities. You are expected to have regular presence in both operations, with a baseline of approximately two days per week in each municipality. However, there is flexibility in the setup based on operational needs, current assignments, and ongoing processes.

The role offers significant scope to influence the content of the work. You help shape working methods, drive development initiatives, and contribute to how the assignment evolves over time.

Responsibilities

The assignment includes, among other things:

  • Ensuring good and safe care within the rehabilitation area
  • Being responsible for guidelines, routines, and follow-up
  • Participating in quality and development work
  • Serving as a support to managers and operations
  • Collaborating with internal and external actors

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a license as an occupational therapist or physiotherapist
  • Has a university education in health and medical care that meets the requirements for the role of Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation according to the Health and Medical Services Act
  • Has several years of experience working within municipal health and medical care
  • Has good knowledge of relevant legislation, especially the Health and Medical Services Act, the Patient Safety Act, and the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations
  • Has the ability to work strategically, independently, and in a structured manner

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience working in a MAR function or similar strategic role
  • Experience in quality and development work at an overarching level
