About us and the position

We are a cohesive organization with approximately 28 employees providing municipal primary care. Our mandate is broad and varied – we work in specialized housing, ordinary housing (district care), within LSS (support and service for persons with certain disabilities) and social psychiatry, as well as in our resource group. This gives us a wide variety of tasks and the opportunity to use and develop our competence in different contexts.

Teamwork is a given with us. We work within home healthcare and support each other in daily life, regardless of the area of work. Together we create security and continuity for the people we meet, with a focus on good quality, patient safety, and professional treatment.

Municipal primary care is close to the patient in everyday life and is responsible for health and medical care interventions at home and in specialized housing. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other actors, such as the region's primary care, hospitals, rehabilitation activities, assistance handlers, home help services, and relatives. Collaboration is an important part of our mandate and a prerequisite for being able to provide secure, cohesive, and person-centered care.

We are a work group that values cooperation, responsibility, and an open work climate, where we learn from each other and help out when needed. With us, you get the opportunity to work independently, but never alone.

The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%). The position involves approximately 40% night shifts and 60% evening shifts. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement.

Qualifications

You must be a registered nurse.

We see that you have:

• good ability to work independently and make decisions within the framework of your assignment
• experience or interest in working within municipal health and medical care, home healthcare, or related activities
• good teamwork skills and a professional attitude towards patients, relatives, and colleagues
• ability to plan, prioritize, and structure your work in a daily life that may be changing
• a person-centered approach with a focus on quality, security, and patient safety
• good documentation habits and basic digital competence
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• A class B driver's license is required.

Meritorious qualifications include:

• experience working in home healthcare, specialized housing, LSS, or social psychiatry
• accustomed to collaborating with other actors, such as the region's primary care, hospitals, or assistance handlers
• experience with supervision, delegation, or teamwork
• specialist training as a district nurse or other relevant further education
