About Us

The Health Centre in Lysekil is an established and appreciated operation with approximately 6,500 registered patients. We work in teams and invest in the education of future general specialists. Today, our medical team consists of 12 doctors, including 3 general specialists, 1 geriatrician, and 4 ST (specialization) doctors. We are now looking for you who want to complement our team.

Psychologists and rehabilitation coordinators also work here integrated with other professions. We have extensive experience in introducing new doctors and providing a secure start in the profession. About the Job

Your duties at the health centre cover a broad field and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You work independently and with variety in clinic work. Supervision is provided by an experienced specialist who gives you support and knowledge exchange. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities. If you are interested in free and varied work with the patient where your and your colleagues' working environment is in focus, this job is for you.

About You

You are a licensed doctor with permission to work within Swedish healthcare and have an interest in primary care and undertaking ST (specialization training) in general medicine. You possess Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

We are looking for you who are sensitive and have a good approach, as you will meet many different patients at the health centre in your work. You work independently and are confident in making your own decisions, while contributing with engagement and initiative to the development of the operation. You thrive in teamwork and cooperate willingly with colleagues and partners to jointly create a care environment characterized by quality, trust, and consideration. Other Information

• Interviews will take place after week 30.
• The position is a temporary assignment for 12 months, with possible extension and ST training.
• For those who trained as doctors abroad and have not done AT (basic internship) in Sweden to obtain medical licensure, you are subject to the new regulations regarding Basic Service (Bastjänstgöring) from July 1, 2021. Basic Service for doctors (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of specialization training in the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8). This means you need to complete BT before or as an introductory part of your ST.
