Audiologist at HØR – Sandefjord, Norway
About HØR
HØR is Norway's leading private chain of expertise in hearing, hearing aids, tinnitus, hyperacusis, misophonia, and custom-molded earplugs. Founded in 2016, the company currently operates six clinics across Norway and offers video consultations and home visits nationwide. The company describes itself as holistic specialists in ear health and hearing, focusing on the individual – without referrals and without waiting times, and with a fitting guarantee on hearing aids. At HØR, time with the patient is highly prioritized. Every visit is characterized by thorough investigations, individually tailored solutions, and continuous follow-up, which creates security for patients and contributes to high customer satisfaction. HØR is now growing and looking for new employees for the clinic in Sandefjord!
About the role
We are looking for an audiologist for HØR's clinic in Sandefjord. The position is a permanent employment directly with HØR – you are therefore employed by HØR, not as a consultant. Here you have the opportunity to work in a modern private hearing clinic with longer patient time and greater clinical responsibility than many are used to from Sweden.
Your responsibilities
- Hearing tests and hearing assessments
- Fitting and follow-up of hearing aids
- Tinnitus assessments
- Ear cleaning
- Custom-molded earplugs via 3D scanning
We are looking for you who
- Have a three-year bachelor's degree in audiology/audiologist education.
- Have Swedish authorization as an audiologist; Norwegian authorization is applied for prior to start, we guide you through the process.
- Have at least 2 years of clinical experience as an audiologist.
- Have a genuine interest in moving to Norway, and are open to learning the Norwegian language.
Experience with tinnitus treatment is meritorious but not a requirement.
Why Norway?
- Competitive salary – As an audiologist in Norway, you can expect a starting salary that is clearly above Swedish levels.
- Greater responsibility and freedom – You work more independently with longer patient time, unlike the more assisted role common in the regional healthcare system in Sweden.
- Secure employment conditions – Permanent employment directly with HØR with pension, health insurance, and 25 days of vacation.
- Quality of life – Norway offers a unique opportunity to combine career with nature-oriented environments, outdoor life, and high quality of life.
Norwegian authorization – we help you
The processing time for Norwegian audiologist authorization is normally 6–12 weeks. We check the schedule with you based on your current notice period and guide you through the entire application process.
Scope
Employment percentage: Full-time
Employment type: Permanent
Start date: By agreement
Workplace: Sandefjord, Norway
