Surgical Clinic 2 is an outpatient specialist clinic with a regional mandate. We work person-centered and in teams with nurses, doctors, dietitians, psychologists, and medical secretaries. We are constantly working on development and improvement in both daily work and in clinic, hospital, and region-wide projects, always with the patient in focus!

What does the job entail?

As a nurse here, you are responsible, together with the dietitians, for all follow-up within the standard pathway for bariatric surgery. You have your own clinic and provide advice digitally and via phone for all the clinic's patients, including those with upper gastrointestinal diseases. You will also admit and care for patients prior to elective surgery at our pre-op and operating department. As a nurse, you are a vital support and have the opportunity to follow patients over time.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with employment within the Region of Västra Götaland (VGR). Specialist education in surgery is preferred. It is an advantage if you have experience working with obesity and/or upper gastrointestinal patients, or experience with outpatient clinic work.

We believe you enjoy working both independently and in teams. You want to contribute to good collaboration and have a solution-focused approach. You are engaged, meticulous, and confident in yourself. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
