About the role

Algebraskolan is an independent school (grades 1–9) with a profile in mathematics and Arabic. Our student-centered approach, where we place great emphasis on each student's individual development, allows us to create a safe and inclusive school environment. We believe that every student has unique abilities and work hard to help them reach their full potential.

We are now looking for a certified school nurse (50–100% position) to join our dedicated student health team, starting in the autumn term of 2026. You will work closely with the principal, special education teachers, and other student health staff to ensure that every student is well and has good conditions for success in their schooling.

Your responsibilities:

• Responsible for student healthcare, including health visits, vaccinations, and health conversations according to the school's student health plan.
• Work to promote health and prevent illness, both individually and in groups.
• Identify and follow up on students in need of special support, in collaboration with special education teachers and other student health personnel.
• Provide support to students, guardians, and staff regarding physical and mental health issues.
• Actively participate in the school's student health team and contribute to long-term, structured health promotion work.
• Document in accordance with current laws and guidelines for school healthcare.

Qualifications:

• Certified nurse with specialist education as a school nurse/district nurse or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and adolescents is an advantage.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team, with a solution-oriented and inclusive approach.
• You are confident in your professional role, communicative, and skilled at building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
