About the Job

Are you the one who makes it possible for people to stay in their own homes? We are now looking for care assistants and helpers for home care services at Redbergsvägen Norra. Working within elderly care gives you the opportunity to contribute to joy of life and well-being. The goal is for care recipients to have meaningful days, where you provide good nursing care and social support. The work involves day and evening shifts, including weekends. We value collaboration and work based on the national value base.

Work within home care means that you support and help the care recipient in their own home based on approved services. You travel to the individual's home on foot, by e-bike, or by car. Your work includes practical help with personal hygiene and care, support during meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, and more.

You also perform health and medical care tasks after instruction and delegation from licensed personnel. All social documentation is done digitally. If you have not previously used the systems used within the City of Gothenburg, you will receive training in these.

As a care assistant and helper in home care, you will have a varied job where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life.

About You

For this position, you must have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. The position requires good teamwork skills as we work in teams to achieve common goals. We would like you to have work experience within care and social services.

You are respectful, open, and positive in all your interactions, and you have the care recipient's best interests at heart. The workday can sometimes differ from the plan, so it is important to be able to quickly reprioritize tasks, remain calm, and have the ability to balance different demands.

To ensure high quality in our care and social services, we would like you, if you do not have care education, to have the necessary prerequisites so that you can further educate yourself as a care assistant or assistant nurse through adult education. We think long-term and want you as an employee to grow and develop, so we would like you to be motivated to continue studying within care and social services in the long run. We will prioritize candidates who have the required prerequisites.
