To Vegahusens Care and Nursing Home, we are looking for six permanent positions. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. We provide care and nursing for residents with dementia and somatic illnesses. In your work, you are the one who makes daily life function and become meaningful. With a focus on creating and strengthening health, we always work from a person-centered approach. You meet every resident with respect and base your actions on their individual needs and conditions. By motivating and supporting, you help the residents maintain their independence.

Duties include personal care, support during meals, encouragement and assistance in social activities, as well as collaboration with relatives. You collaborate with colleagues and perform certain tasks under the delegation of licensed personnel. As the contact person, you plan, carry out, document, and follow up on the care provided to the resident.

This is a 24/7 operation where your working hours are scheduled. At some locations, we collaborate between departments, which means you may need to help out in another department if necessary.

About you

We are looking for you who are trained as a nurse assistant (undersköterska) and can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for the protected professional title, or alternatively prove that you were employed as a nurse assistant when the new rules were introduced. The role requires computer skills for documentation and deviation handling in various IT systems, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

For Björkekärrshus Care and Nursing Home, previous experience in care and nursing is meritorious. You enjoy collaborating with others and have good communication skills.

In your role, you meet many people, which requires you to work together with others to achieve common goals. You should be respectful, open in your interactions, and always have the residents' best interests in focus. The workday can sometimes differ from the plan because you work with people, so you maintain your calm, balance different demands, and reprioritize your tasks.
