Welcome to AVA!

Here, you will meet patients with acute care needs, 24/7, year-round. We have a high patient throughput and short care durations, which makes the work varied and stimulating.

To give our new employees a secure start, we offer a structured introduction with mentorship. We also work with competence support that assists both new and experienced staff. In this way, we strengthen the competence on the ward and meet today's challenges together. Our newly renovated premises are equipped with a modern call system.

In early 2025, we launched an acute observation unit to meet future needs for alternative care forms. Here, patients who need shorter observation times are cared for, and the unit is staffed by nursing assistants.

AVA is also a training department. Our committed nurses and nursing assistants supervise students according to the Peer Learning model. We promote interdisciplinary learning with person-centeredness as a foundation.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you contribute to providing high-quality care and nursing. You work with general nursing care with a focus on patient safety. You work close to the patient and are a support for the patient and their relatives. We work in teams with nurses and nursing assistants where each care team has 6-8 patients. You will also work in close collaboration with other professions on the units. Teamwork and communication are important factors for safe care and a secure work environment. The job also involves participating in and being involved in our operational development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant. It is meritorious if you have previous experience from working on a care ward or in emergency care, as well as specialist education in emergency care.

Since the tasks and workload on the ward vary, you need to thrive in a varied pace while simultaneously providing good care. You should have good cooperation skills and be able to communicate with patients, relatives, and other employees in a trustworthy manner.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
