KAVA – Surgical Emergency Care Unit

Do you want to work in a dynamic and educational environment where every day makes a difference? At KAVA, you will encounter a fast patient flow with both acute surgical conditions and trauma patients – no day is like the other here.

We are a unit focused on fast and professional surgical care. Our patients primarily come via the emergency department and need inpatient care for observation, investigation, or surgical intervention.

In addition to our inpatient activity with 21 beds, we also run outpatient activity in the form of an integrated clinic at the surgical clinic, which gives our nurses broad and varied competence within both inpatient and outpatient care.

About you

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have a genuine interest and commitment to surgery and emergency care. Preferably with experience from a surgical care unit, trauma care, or emergency care. If you are specially trained in surgical care, we can also offer you other exciting assignments within the unit as part of your role.

If you are a recent graduate, we create a tailor-made plan for you that includes a clinical base year.

As a person, you are responsible and flexible. You have no problems with collaboration and think it is of great importance to maintain a good work environment together with your colleagues.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Other

The position is scheduled for day and evening shifts. We offer you a 4-week introduction program.

Interviews are conducted continuously throughout the application period.

The position may be placed in a security class. This means that security clearance and register control may be carried out in accordance with provisions in the Security Protection Act before employment.

Clinical Base Year
