Your Mission
As an intelligence analyst, you will belong to the Signals Intelligence Division, which conducts signals intelligence in accordance with the Act on Signals Intelligence in Defence Intelligence. The division works with the collection of raw material, processing, analysis, and delivers intelligence reports and other services to the agency's commissioning authorities.
In the role of intelligence analyst, a large part of the work will take place at the computer, as the majority of tasks consist of processing and analyzing data. You will be part of a team with shared goals and areas of responsibility, making it important to have the desire and knowledge to collaborate and share information and expertise.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Report writing
- Processing and analysis of data
- Developing methods for collection and analysis
- Contributing to the development of national and international cooperation
Travel may be required for the position. Furthermore, the role may involve on-call duties, and in exceptional cases, work may be performed during evenings and weekends.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- At least a three-year degree or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience in a relevant area at a government agency
- Work experience in processing and analyzing information
- Good computer and system skills
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
We consider it meritorious if you have:
- Education in political science, criminology, statistics, or education that the employer deems equivalent
- Technical education in IT, networks, or programming
- Experience working at a government agency in the last 5 years
- Experience working in security/intelligence services or in investigative work or analysis in the last 5 years
- Documented database skills
- Knowledge of Networks
- Knowledge of IP
- Knowledge of Telecom
- Basic knowledge of programming
- Language skills in Arabic, Turkish, Kurdish, Russian, or another language deemed relevant by the employer

More Information
The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approx. 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security clearance level. Before employment, you will undergo a security check in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be war-placed.
