Responsibilities

In this role, you primarily work with FPGA development in technically advanced systems at the customer's site. The work takes place close to the hardware, in interaction with electronics and circuit board design, where the solutions place high demands on performance, stability, and functionality.

You work on developing new functionality in projects where the systems are complex and often real-time close. The role covers the entire development chain – from design and implementation to testing, verification, and integration. Embedded development in C/C++ occurs as part of the whole, but is not the main focus.

You collaborate with other teams and have ongoing dialogue with the customer in the assignments.

• Development of FPGA solutions
• Hardware-near development in close connection to electronics and circuit boards
• Implementation, simulation, and verification of design
• Integration and troubleshooting in complex systems
• Technical dialogue with customers and cross-functional teams

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Experience of FPGA development
• Experience of embedded development (C/C++)
• Post-secondary education in computer technology, electronics, or similar
• Good Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Meritorious with experience from the defense or automotive industry
• Meritorious with previous experience as a consultant

To function in the role, you need to be able to take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward in a structured way. You are comfortable in technical environments where you work independently but simultaneously collaborate closely with other competencies. The role requires that you are receptive in the dialogue with both customers and colleagues and can adapt how you communicate technical issues. You have a genuine technical interest and are accustomed to getting to grips with complex problems where solutions evolve over time.
