Cybersecurity Specialist, Consulting Assignment – Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping, Karlskoga or Lund

Our client is a high-tech player with complex IT and embedded systems. We are now looking for you who thrive in a consulting role and possess strong competence in cybersecurity and information security.

In the role of Cybersecurity Specialist, you will work both strategically and operationally in development projects to protect systems, identify risks, and implement security solutions that raise the protection level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security analyses and risk assessments of systems, software, and networks
• Design security solutions and guidelines to reduce vulnerabilities
• Participate in design and code reviews from a security perspective
• Monitor systems and handle security incidents in collaboration with operations
• Follow the threat landscape and train teams in secure development and best practices

Your Background

• Post-secondary education in IT, computer security, or equivalent
• Strong competence in IT and information security (networks, OS, encryption)
• Experience with security standards and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, ISO 27000)
• Experience with security tools for scanning or penetration testing
• Ability to translate security requirements into practical solutions
• High integrity and good ability to handle sensitive information

Merits

• Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH)
• Experience from security-critical industries (defense, telecom, automotive)
• Knowledge of security architecture for embedded systems or IoT
