Professional Galaxy is an IT and technical consulting firm providing highly specialized expertise in IT, software development, SAP, procurement, electronics, and mechanical design. We collaborate with experienced senior experts and deliver strategically valuable competence to some of Sweden's most complex and analytically demanding projects. Our focus is always on high quality, professionalism, and clear, measurable results.
We are currently looking for a Project Manager QC for our client.
Requirements Profile
We are seeking a project manager for three QC projects involving upgrades and replacement of existing QC systems, including migration, decommissioning of legacy solutions, and integration with internal IT environments. The focus is on managing systems with end-of-life status, cybersecurity risks, and regulatory requirements, while ensuring coordinated delivery with full GMP validation (IQ/OQ/PQ). You will be responsible for driving the projects from the design and requirement specification phase, including requirement definition, vendor interface, validation strategy, and dependency management between sub-projects. The role involves reporting to the steering group and program management, as well as actively managing senior stakeholders in a cross-functional QC/IT/QA environment.
Competency Requirements:
- Experience in project management in a GMP / GxP regulated environment
- Documented experience from a QC lab or equivalent laboratory environment
- Practical experience with projects involving validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Experience with system upgrades/migrations (not just new implementations)
- Ability to independently drive projects from design and requirement phase to commissioning
- Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders (QA, IT, OT, Automation, and Operations)
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with legacy replacement / end-of-life systems
- Experience with IT/OT integration (e.g., connection to lab systems, databases, AD, etc.)
- Experience with parallel projects or multi-stream setups
- Experience with vendor management and procurement
Potential Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the project team, stakeholders, and vendors towards project goals and delivery according to the receiving organization's order.
- Define the project scope, interfaces, and exclusions in a project plan.
- Monitor the project regarding risk management, SHE, quality, budget, schedule, organization, documentation, and function.
- Lead the design and function development for the current investment to ensure the client's requirements are met within the project's framework.
- Prepare basis documents and specifications for quotations and, in collaboration with the purchasing function, evaluate and conduct procurement.
- Solve technical issues arising within the project's framework.
- Plan and lead installation, startup, and commissioning tests of equipment.
- Plan and monitor that validation is carried out in the projects.
- Plan and provide project-specific training to the receiving organization.
- Plan, structure, and archive documentation according to current SOPs.
Experience in capital project management is expected. You should be accustomed to taking full ownership and overall responsibility for all phases of the project regarding time, function, and economy. Good experience in stakeholder management, GMP, and the ability to navigate complex organizational environments are considered requirements. As this is an international company, you are expected to communicate fluently in both English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
