Test Automation Engineer, Consulting Assignment – Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping, Karlskoga or Lund

Our client is a leading player in advanced technology, focusing on the development of complex systems and software. We are now looking for you who thrive in a consulting role and have experience with test automation in modern development environments.

In the role of Test Automation Engineer, you will work within a development team, contributing to raising quality through automated testing. You will have the opportunity to influence test strategies, tool selection, and working methods in a technically advanced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain frameworks for automated testing
  • Implement test cases and scripts for functionality, performance, and robustness
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyze test results, report bugs, and drive debugging
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers to improve testing processes and quality

Your Background

  • University degree or Master of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • Experience developing automated test solutions in complex systems
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, or C#)
  • Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, or similar
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and version control
  • Good collaboration and communication skills

Merits

  • Experience testing large or safety-critical systems
  • Experience with build and deployment tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
  • Knowledge in performance or security testing
