Project Staff Member for ESF Preliminary Study - Care Swedish for Future Competence Supply

Do you want to contribute to strengthening competence supply within healthcare and create inclusive pathways for more people to work in care and social services? Stockholm City Mission Education is now seeking a project staff member for an ESF-funded preliminary study leading to a vocational Swedish course for healthcare personnel.

About the Project

The preliminary study aims to map needs, target groups, collaboration opportunities, and educational structures for a future initiative on language training for professionals working in healthcare. The project aims to contribute to increased inclusion in the labor market and strengthened competence supply within the care and social services sector. The work is carried out in close dialogue with faith-based care providers, educational organizers, authorities, municipalities, and other relevant stakeholders.

As a project staff member, you will support the project manager and participate in the implementation of the preliminary study. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Planning and coordinating project activities
• Mapping needs among employers and target groups
• Conducting interviews, workshops, and dialogue meetings
• Contact with collaboration partners
• Administration and reporting according to ESF guidelines
• Contributing to the final report and future project applications

We are looking for you who have relevant education and/or experience within pedagogy and Swedish as a second language.

You should have experience in project work or project administration, preferably within competence development, language training, or other educational initiatives. Knowledge of the care and social services sector is highly meritorious.

You have experience with mapping, investigations, and analysis. You possess good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish, are organized, and accustomed to working both independently and in teams. You easily build trusting relationships and can translate collected information and experiences into conclusions and proposals.

Employment Type: Fixed-term project employment

Scope: 80 - 100%

Employment Period: August - November 2026

Start Date: As soon as possible in August or as agreed.
