Do you want to contribute to making Gripen pilot equipment and ejection systems even better? We are looking for systems engineers for exciting tasks in this area!

Your role

We are recruiting staff for the Aircrew Equipment and Escape & Oxygen system sections. The sections collaborate closely. Work is carried out in a project format. Our competent teams consist of engaged and supportive colleagues who quickly integrate you into both the community and the work, where you will participate in various stages of the development chain. From requirements definition, design, and system safety work to verification in simulators and flight tests, as well as system maintenance.

The roles are versatile and offer opportunities to broaden and deepen your knowledge in the technical field. You will build a good network within Saab. We collaborate closely with suppliers, which involves occasional business travel.

Main responsibilities:

  • Development of systems & devices
  • Requirements breakdown
  • Requirements verification
  • Technical documentation
  • Testing and verification
  • Investigation of operational issues
  • Maintenance preparation

The direction of your development will be partly guided by your previous experience and interests.

The position is exclusively based on-site at our office in Tannefors, Linköping.

Who you are

We are looking for you who enjoy working in a team where people support and help each other to achieve common goals. You have a few years of experience in systems work and development, thrive in social settings, and are not afraid to ask when you need information. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

To succeed in your role, you need to have a good sense of mechanics and physics and a desire to see the big picture in large systems. A suitable background is a university or civil engineering degree.

Documentation and contacts in daily work are conducted in both English and Swedish, so you must be proficient in both languages, spoken and written. Previous Saab experience is an advantage.

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
