Do you want to make a real impact and create change? Here, you contribute to creating security for people and societies. What you do matters.
Your Role
As a Systems Engineer for Control Systems at Saab Advanced Programs, you will become a central part of the work developing flight control systems for the next generation of Swedish fighter aircraft. The team you will join has broad flight technical responsibilities, including the control system architecture, sensors and primary data, control law design, and flight dynamic simulation. You will work on system development in this complex area and contribute to developing the team to meet future technical challenges. This role is a strategic future investment where you will be involved from the very beginning in the development of the next generation of aircraft.
The working environment is both creative and accommodating, with ample room to explore new technology and tackle technical challenges. It is a workplace where you can influence, develop, and be part of something built from the ground up.
To thrive in this role, you need to have strong collaboration skills. We appreciate that you contribute a natural leadership mindset and support the team in its development.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who enjoys communicating with others and working in teams to find solutions, but also has the ability to work independently and deliver on time. You have insight into your own strengths and areas for improvement, are humble, and have a great curiosity to learn new things.
To succeed with us, we believe you have:
- An engineering background (at least a Bachelor of Science in Engineering), preferably with education in control engineering, vehicle engineering, or another relevant engineering degree in technical physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or space technology.
- Experience working with system development, modeling, simulation, and programming, preferably within aerospace.
- The ability to handle technical and formal language in both Swedish and English.
The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance assessment according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
Please note that we work with ongoing selection, and the position may be filled before the application deadline has passed.
