We are immediately seeking a DevOps Engineer for an exciting assignment in Jönköping!

About the assignment

This is a consulting assignment via Bemannia, starting August 24, 2026, or as agreed, running until December 31st, with the possibility of extension. You will work at the unit's office in Jönköping, with the option to work remotely 2 days/week after an initial period.

In this role, you will work closely with the development team to ensure systems are built, tested, deployed, and monitored in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. The focus is on DevOps, automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, and Java in an on-premise environment with high demands for security and availability.

Your responsibilities

• Design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.
• Building, testing, and deploying applications.
• Packaging and deployment in Kubernetes using Helm.
• Container technology with Docker.
• Backend-adjacent development and maintenance in Java.
• Monitoring and observability in Grafana.
• Troubleshooting, performance analysis, and improvement of existing systems.
• Non-functional testing, such as load and performance testing.
• Collaboration with agile development teams.

Qualifications

• Several years of documented experience in DevOps work and system development.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience with Docker.
• Practical experience with CI/CD.
• Experience with Grafana.
• Experience with Linux and scripting, e.g., Bash or Python.
• Excellent collaboration skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Responsible and structured work approach.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Swedish, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work on-site in Jönköping according to the assignment structure.

Preferred qualifications

• Load and performance testing, e.g., JMeter or k6.
• Backend development in Java.
• Jenkins, Maven, and Node.
• Security aspects within DevOps, e.g., secrets management and container scanning.
• Agile working methods.
• Business-critical systems in complex organizations.
• Systems with high requirements for security, authorization, traceability, and availability.
