About the Role

You will step into an operation within the energy sector that is investing in a more data-driven and sustainable energy system. Here, you will work closely with a dedicated team responsible for developing, maintaining, and further developing data warehouses, data platforms, and data flows that support both stable services and smarter decisions. This role is suitable for you who thrive in complex data environments with multiple source systems and who want to transform data into robust, scalable solutions with high quality and security. Responsibilities
  • You develop, maintain, and further develop data warehouses and data platforms.
  • You build and improve data ingestion, ETL/ELT, and data flows from several different source systems.
  • You work with SQL, relational databases, and modern data platforms to create stable and useful data solutions.
  • You build and maintain solutions in, for example, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Oracle, and MS SQL Server or equivalent services.
  • You drive working methods regarding DevOps, CI/CD, and Git for version control and automated deployments of data pipelines and database services.
  • You contribute to good data modeling, high data quality, clear data governance, performance optimization, and secure data handling.
  • You collaborate closely with the team, are happy to share your knowledge, and take significant individual responsibility for delivery.
Requirements
  • You have documented experience in developing and maintaining data warehouses and data platforms.
  • You have documented experience in data ingestion, ETL/ELT flows, and data handling from various source systems.
  • You have very good knowledge of SQL.
  • You have experience working with both relational databases and modern data platforms.
  • You have experience building and maintaining data solutions in Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or equivalent services.
  • You are accustomed to working agilely with DevOps, CI/CD, and Git.
  • You have a good understanding of data modeling, data quality, data governance, performance optimization, and security related to data handling.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data lake architecture and modern analytics platforms.
  • Experience with real-time data flows and streaming technologies.
  • Experience operating and optimizing database services in a cloud environment, especially in Azure.
  • Experience in the energy industry, metering data, IoT, or smart energy services.
