DevOps Developer for the Swedish Courts Administration in Jönköping

About the Assignment

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Developer for an important assignment at the Swedish Courts Administration in Jönköping. The Swedish Courts Administration develops and maintains business-critical systems for Sweden's courts and is facing several important digitalization projects.

In this role, you will work closely with the development team and contribute to building, testing, deploying, and monitoring systems in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. The focus is on DevOps, automation, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, and Java in an on-premise environment with high demands for security and availability.

Responsibilities

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins
• Building, testing, and deployment of applications
• Packaging and deployment in Kubernetes using Helm
• Container technology with Docker
• Backend-near development and maintenance in Java
• Monitoring and supervision in Grafana
• Troubleshooting, performance analysis, and improvement of existing systems
• Non-functional testing, such as load and performance testing
• Collaboration with agile development teams

Requirements

We are looking for you who have:

• Several years of documented experience in DevOps work and system development
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
• Experience with Docker
• Practical experience with CI/CD
• Experience with Grafana
• Experience with Linux and scripting, e.g., Bash or Python
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Good communication skills
• Responsible and structured work approach
• Good problem-solving skills
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Ability to work on-site in Jönköping according to the assignment setup

Preferred Qualifications

It is a plus if you have experience with:

• Load and performance testing, e.g., JMeter or k6
• Backend development in Java
• Jenkins, Maven, and Node
• Security aspects within DevOps, e.g., secrets management and container scanning
• Agile working methods
• Business-critical systems in complex organizations
• Systems with high demands for security, permissions, traceability, and availability

Location

The assignment is located at the Swedish Courts Administration's premises in Jönköping. After an initial period, there is an opportunity to work remotely 2 days per week, as agreed with the client. When working remotely, the consultant must be located in Sweden.
