Job Responsibilities as System Administrator

As a system administrator at IDATA, you will become an important part of a small and skilled team that is jointly responsible for the company's entire IT environment.

Here you will have a broad role with responsibilities in:

System Administration

• Operation, maintenance, and improvement of Linux/Unix server environments
• Network administration and work with cloud services
• Log and performance analysis

IT Infrastructure

• Ensuring that the infrastructure complies with legal requirements, security policies, and management decisions
• Documentation of environments, changes, and routines
• Scheduled maintenance jobs (approx. once a month, sometimes outside office hours)

Internal IT Support

• User administration
• Installation and configuration of computers
• Helpdesk support for internal users

IT Procurement

• Planning and ordering computers, printers, phones, licenses, and other IT equipment

Who We Are Looking For

In the role of System Administrator, we are looking for you who have:

Requirements

• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Ability to work with command line, scripts, and operational tasks
• Experience working in case management systems
• Good habit of documentation
• Experience in troubleshooting
• Post-secondary education in IT (university or vocational college with a focus on networks/systems)
• Fluent in Swedish and English

Advantageous Qualifications

• Experience in IT security, GDPR, or ISO 27000
• Experience in IT procurement or tendering
• Previous work in smaller organizations with broad areas of responsibility
