System Engineer – Network and Communication

The Role: System Engineer – Network and Communication

We are now strengthening our team and are therefore looking for an experienced system engineer within communication, with a focus on Ascom products. The team you will join also works with local networks, so experience in this area is an advantage.

As an employee in the Communication Administration Group, you are responsible for the development, installation, and administration of Region Jönköping County's Alarm and Messaging Platform (emergency alarms, duress alarms, and patient summons). You will participate in projects aimed at implementing, improving, and streamlining these systems.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. You will collaborate closely with colleagues at the IT Center, suppliers, and business owners to ensure high operational reliability in business-critical environments.

Your Profile

To be considered for the position, you have several years of documented experience with Ascom alarm and messaging platforms, as well as experience working in large, business-critical networks. You have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to be able to conduct customer and supplier dialogues as well as create clear system documentation. Travel may occur in the role, so a valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

To thrive in the role, you are a proactive problem solver with the analytical ability to break down complex challenges. You are structured, responsible, and have a natural aptitude for collaboration. Your initiative allows you to see opportunities where others see obstacles, and you drive processes forward with engagement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
