Your future workplace
Our client is a global innovation company and a world leader in the development of both passive and electronic hearing protection. In Värnamo, one of the company's most important development centers is located, with approximately 300 employees, around 50 of whom work in R&D. Here, advanced hearing protection is developed in close collaboration between different disciplines, with access to state-of-the-art labs, sound measurement equipment, and test environments.
Your new role
In this role, you will work with the entire audio chain – from microphone to speaker – and contribute to creating products that improve communication and safety in noisy environments. You will become part of an engaged and highly competent team where innovation, technical depth, and practical problem-solving are at the center.
As a Developer in Audio/Acoustics/Audio Signal Processing, your responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing algorithms for audio and signal processing
- Implementing solutions on embedded platforms
- Exploring and applying AI/ML within audio
- Participating in concept development for product creation
- Testing, measuring, and evaluating sound in advanced lab environments

About you
We are looking for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop long-term in a technically advanced role. You are curious, analytical, and have a genuine interest in sound, acoustics, and technology. You are driven by understanding complex problems and turning theory into practical solutions.
To succeed, we believe you have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technical Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
- Experience with audio signal processing, acoustics, or audio (education, work, or personal)
- Knowledge of C
- Understanding of the interaction between software and hardware
- Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written
Meritorious: Python, MATLAB, GitHub, and a personal interest in sound/music. Swedish is a plus.
