As an employee at the Swedish National Courts Administration (Domstolsverket), you contribute to a socially important mission to develop and support all of Sweden's Courts, which consist of approximately 80 courts, authorities, and boards with around 7,600 employees. At Domstolsverket, approximately 400 employees work, with the headquarters centrally located in Jönköping, and local offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Umeå.

We are looking for a System Engineer to expand the team working with Microsoft-based solutions.

As a Junior System Engineer at the Swedish Courts, you will work with modern Microsoft environments while making a concrete societal impact. Here, you will work and develop in a professional environment alongside dedicated and competent colleagues.

What does the job entail?

You will join our team responsible for central Windows platforms.

On-prem: Our on-premise infrastructure consists of Windows Server, AD, DNS, MS Exchange, MS SQL, and several other Microsoft-based services. The team provides support to our development teams with application server and DBA services, as well as handling monitoring and automation.

Cloud: The team manages the setup and administration of cloud-based services and servers in MS Azure and MS Office 365.

IT Security: A natural part of the daily work is building secure solutions, and the team handles ongoing security updates in all our systems. Email security for both incoming and outgoing traffic is also part of the responsibilities.

We follow an agile working method and work in sprints to distribute tasks, orders, and 3rd line support within the team.

The team collaborates closely with other teams in the Data Center unit and has frequent contact with other functions within the IT department.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone at the beginning of their career who has a strong interest in IT infrastructure and IT security. It is important to us that you are passionate about digitalization and want to be part of an organization where your work makes a difference.

You have completed a university or vocational education with a focus on IT infrastructure or IT security. You may have worked for a year in the field, but this is not a requirement.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience in support and troubleshooting in Microsoft-based infrastructure, client systems, Windows Server, MS Azure, and MS Office 365.

You enjoy working in a team where we help each other deliver stable IT to all of Sweden's courts.

Other

The location is Jönköping. Probationary employment may apply. Remote work can be agreed upon for up to two days per week. This is determined in dialogue with the nearest manager. As you are junior, we expect you to be primarily on-site to more easily learn working methods and techniques from colleagues.

Interviews are planned from week 33 onwards.

To be considered for employment, you must meet high requirements regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means you stand up for democratic values and the public sector values that govern the operations of the Swedish Courts. We require that you comply with applicable laws. Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities.

Some of our positions require a security clearance before a decision on employment is made. This means that security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be conducted where applicable.
