IT Project Manager – Consulting Assignment within Municipal Operations (Stockholm, Gothenburg, Jönköping, or Sundsvall)

Our client is now seeking experienced IT Project Managers for assignments within municipal operations. This role is ideal for you who thrive driving IT and digitalization projects in complex organizations with many stakeholders, where collaboration between operations, IT, suppliers, and administration is crucial.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating IT and digitalization projects from start to finish.
• Driving requirements gathering, planning, monitoring, risk management, and reporting.
• Collaborating with operations, IT, system administration, procurement, and external suppliers.
• Ensuring solutions meet requirements for quality, information security, and business value.
• Supporting implementation, change management, and handover to administration.

Your Background

• You have several years of experience as an IT Project Manager or Technical Project Manager.
• You have prior experience from municipal operations, municipal companies, or related public sector entities.
• You are accustomed to working with requirements definition, system implementation, supplier management, and monitoring.
• You have a good understanding of municipal decision-making processes, public procurement, and complex stakeholder environments.
• You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you have experience with LOU (Public Procurement Act), PM3, information security, business development, agile working methods, or project models such as PPS, XLPM, PRINCE2, or PMP.

More about the assignment

You will be hired by the client through Intenso Interim. The assignment is available in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Jönköping, or Sundsvall and may also suit those who own their own business. Scope and duration will be determined in dialogue with the client. Please apply as soon as possible.
