1 position(s).

Do you want to help create digital solutions that strengthen legal certainty in Sweden?

As a Solution Architect with us, you will have a leading role in shaping the future IT landscape for the courts. You work closely with the business operations, drive architecture issues, and contribute to the development of the next generation of system support for the courts' core activities in case and matter management – a modernization where stability and new technologies such as AI go hand in hand.

What does the job entail?

As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for translating business needs into sustainable and long-term technical solutions. You work both strategically and operationally, from overarching architecture to concrete solution designs together with the development teams.

You will work with support for the courts' core activities in case and matter management and serve as a key link between business, architecture, and development teams. We are in the midst of a gradual modernization where we future-proof our solutions and create conditions for continued development of the system support for Sweden's Courts.

You work together with development teams, product owners, team leaders, and other architects, contributing to creating a common direction. You lead an experienced architecture team and have significant influence over technical choices and working methods.

Your tasks include:

  • developing solution architecture for new and further developed systems
  • ensuring that solutions follow target architecture, architecture principles, and technical guidelines
  • acting as a technical sounding board for developers, team leaders, and other architects
  • describing and documenting architecture, dependencies, data flows, and alternative choices in an understandable way
  • participating in architecture forums and collaborations within Domstolsverket and with other authorities
  • contributing to the introduction of new technologies and working methods, such as AI and container-based platforms

The technical environment

We primarily develop in-house solutions in our own data centers. The environment is characterized by business-critical systems, integrations, automated deliveries, and an ongoing modernization towards more container-based working methods.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have higher education in IT or equivalent knowledge, and several years of documented work experience in solution architecture or IT architecture in complex system environments. You can translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions.

To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you:

  • have experience with documentation and modeling of architecture
  • are accustomed to working closely with development teams and business representatives
  • have good knowledge of integration architecture and API design
  • are communicative and can explain choices and consequences for different target groups
  • take responsibility, see the big picture, and contribute to a learning and collaborative climate

It is an advantage if you have experience with modernization of older systems, integration patterns, or business-critical systems. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

We offer you

At Domstolsverket, you get to work with IT in a context where your competence is taken seriously and where there are opportunities for development, both in your current role and further over time. The IT department is a central part of our digital development, and here you work with solutions that are long-term, socially important, and technically demanding. You get the opportunity to deepen your expertise in your specialist area, broaden your competence, or take the next step in your professional role, in line with the business's needs and your own ambitions.

We offer a secure employment in a stable organization with a high ethical standard. Our work environment is characterized by trust and professional responsibility – with us, you get the confidence to influence solutions, contribute to technical choices, and use your judgment as an IT specialist.
