Axelent is looking for a Global Application Engineer

Your Role:

As a Global Application Engineer at Axelent, you play a central role in developing, optimizing, and managing our business-critical systems and processes. You report to the CIO and are responsible for ensuring that parts of Axelent's global application portfolio support the business's goals through stable operations, strategic development, and cost-effective management.

The role involves close collaboration with both the business units and external vendors, acting as a bridge between IT and the business. The focus is on creating a robust, efficient, and future-proof application landscape that supports the business globally.

You will:

• Be responsible for the management, further development, and lifecycle management of business-critical applications such as ERP, CRM, CPQ, WMS, PIM, and PDM systems. You ensure stable operations, high performance, and continuous development of solutions that support the business.
• Work with integrations between different systems and contribute to efficient and reliable information flows throughout the organization. Through close collaboration with various business functions, you drive improvement initiatives, automation, and development projects that create business value.
• Lead and coordinate IT-related projects, such as implementations, upgrades, and change initiatives. You work with planning, execution, and follow-up to ensure that projects deliver the desired results.
• Provide advice, training, and support to the business while ensuring that systems and working methods comply with applicable regulations, security requirements, and internal policies.

You are:

You are a communicative and solution-oriented person who thrives at the intersection of technology and business. Understanding processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and turning ideas into working solutions is what motivates you.

We believe you have experience in application management, system development, or similar business-oriented IT roles where you have worked with business systems, process development, and change management. Experience in project management and system-developing initiatives is also valuable in this role.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and confident in handling multiple parallel activities simultaneously. You have the ability to quickly grasp complex contexts and create solutions that work in practice.

You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks, while appreciating collaboration and having an easy time building good relationships with both colleagues and external partners. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
