Your Role

Saab Training & Simulation is a leading provider of training and simulation solutions. We are now looking for a Configuration Manager (CM) to join our Platform team to strengthen our capabilities in configuration management. As a Configuration Manager within the platform, you will become part of our Product Platform Management and work with configuration management for several platforms within the Integrated Product Creation (IPC) process.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure correct configuration management during the development and maintenance of module and platform configurations.
• Lead the Configuration Control Board (CCB).
• Provide support and ensure control and traceability throughout the entire design lifecycle.
• Educate and support staff in configuration management.

The role offers a variety of challenging tasks where you work with both software and hardware. You will have the opportunity to develop deep knowledge of platform configurations while building a broad network and becoming a key player in our team.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is structured, organized, and has good collaboration skills. You have a natural ability to both work according to and actively improve existing processes. Additionally, you have good communication skills that allow you to smoothly convey information and collaborate with others.

To succeed in the role, you have a relevant university degree or equivalent work experience. If you also have previous experience in configuration management, we see this as a significant plus.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
