About the role

In this role, you will have ample opportunity to influence and develop how our recycling centers function for our customers - both on-site and in our internal processes. The role is new, which means you can help shape working methods, structures, and future development.

As an operations manager, you are the hub of the work on customer experience at our facilities. You work close to the operations and in close dialogue with operation suppliers, colleagues, and partners. Together, you ensure that our visitors are met with clear information, good service, and well-functioning facilities. You report to SÖRAB's Collection Manager.

The role combines analysis, development, and practical improvement work - from data to on-site change.

Your main responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things:

• develop and ensure the quality of the customer experience at our recycling centers
• monitor customer satisfaction (CSI)
• handle customer cases, surveys, and visitor statistics
• work with and develop routines from a customer perspective
• monitor our suppliers' work based on staffing, service, and treatment
• be responsible for the management and development of systems related to receipt control
• be the contact person for residents, businesses, and internally in customer-related matters
• contribute to clear information at the facilities and in our digital channels

About you

We are looking for you who thrive in a varied daily life where you switch between analysis, collaboration, and making things work in practice. You are self-motivated and able to drive issues forward on your own initiative while having good collaboration skills and building trusting relationships with both internal and external parties. With an analytical approach, you use data as a basis for improvements and development, and you work in a structured and quality-conscious manner to ensure good results. You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and have the ability to meet people in a calm, respectful, and solution-oriented manner even in challenging situations.

Qualifications

We believe that you who apply either have a background in waste management and now want to develop your leadership, or that you have experience from a supervisory role and are curious about the waste industry. Other requirements and merits are listed below:

Requirements:

• Experience working with waste management or experience in a supervisory role
• Upper secondary education in technology, environment, civil engineering, or equivalent
• Good administrative skills and experience with documentation
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Category B driver's license and access to a car

Merits:

• Experience from a recycling center or municipal operations
• Basic understanding of waste legislation and environmental requirements
• Knowledge of waste issues, sustainability work, and/or environmental legislation
• Work with customer service or customer cases
• Experience with statistics, follow-up, or survey work
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety, security, or risk issues
• Work in operations certified in accordance with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 9001
