You will become an important part of the development of a socially critical digital service used by citizens, businesses, and public actors. The assignment involves modernizing the solution with a focus on accessibility, inclusion, and higher security, while the service is developed to support more identity indicators and user groups. You work in an agile DevOps team where you are involved throughout the entire lifecycle: from development and testing to operations, maintenance, and further development in production. Parallel changes are underway in both web structure and operational environment, creating a daily routine with technical breadth and close collaboration around robust solutions. • You develop and maintain backend solutions in Java for services with high demands on stability and security.
• You work with both REST and SOAP-based services and contribute to further developing existing solutions.
• You are involved in the entire delivery flow and work with testing, debugging, quality assurance, and documentation.
• You drive and improve deployments, pipelines, and other automated flows.
• You contribute to technical decisions, software architecture, and solution design together with the team.
• You analyze incidents and technical problems in operations and help develop sustainable improvements.
• You collaborate closely in a DevOps team where development, operations, and further development are interconnected.

• Experience developing in Java for at least five (5) years.
• Experience in Java backend development for REST services for at least three (3) years.
• Experience in Java backend development for SOAP services for at least three (3) years.
• Experience with Java 17 or 21 for at least three (3) years.
• Experience working in agile teams and applying agile working methods for at least three (3) years.
• You communicate fluently in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance check (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not accepted).

• Experience with Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Experience acting as a Tech Lead or Software Architect.
• Experience working with microservice architecture.
• Experience automating build, test, and delivery flows in container-based environments.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Hibernate, JPA, or equivalent.
• Experience with Flyway or equivalent.
• Experience with test automation.
• Experience working in Linux.
• Experience working in DevOps teams with live systems.
