Systems Engineer, Consulting Assignment – Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping, Karlskoga or Lund

Our client is an expanding industrial player developing advanced technical systems. We are now looking for you who thrive in a consulting role and have experience in systems engineering within complex development environments.

In the role of Systems Engineer, you will work with the entirety of the system development process – from requirements to the final solution. You act as a bridge between different technical disciplines and ensure that the solution meets both functional and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate systems engineering from requirements and design to testing and delivery
• Structure and break down system requirements into subsystem and component levels
• Design system architecture and ensure technical integrity
• Participate in risk analysis and plan verification and validation
• Communicate technical solutions, progress, and changes with project management and the client

Your Background

• M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent in technical physics, electronics, mechatronics, computer science, or similar
• Experience in systems engineering within complex projects
• Knowledge in requirements management and systems modeling
• Understanding of both software and hardware and their integration
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle complex technical issues
• Strong teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with established systems development models (e.g., INCOSE, ISO/IEC 15288)
• Experience in security-classified or regulated environments
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or similar
