Description

Vocational High School Sollentuna is primarily seeking a certified vocational teacher in Construction and Civil Engineering. You are also welcome to apply if you have at least five years of work experience in Construction and Civil Engineering. Here, students learn a trade from the ground up on real job sites with experienced supervisors. In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with the builders of tomorrow. More than half of the students' education takes place on a job site, giving them a solid foundation and an advantage in the job market. Our students are prepared in the best possible way for their future professional lives with the support of their supervisors and dedicated educators.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in Construction and Civil Engineering, or alternatively has at least five years of experience in the construction industry and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.
• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge between the school, students, and the business community.
• Has a B-category driver's license and preferably access to a personal car.
• Has the ability to work independently while being team-oriented and collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future professional lives.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or substantial experience in the construction and civil engineering industry, along with a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of builders. Teaching certification and pedagogical experience are desirable but not required.
