Here you will become part of an experienced team with high competence in regional eating disorder care as well as national highly specialized care for patients with eating disorders in combination with psychiatric comorbidity.

Stockholm Centre for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the largest specialist clinics in the world for patients with eating disorders and receives patients of all ages.

We have a well-developed operation with digital care, outpatient care, intensive outpatient care, day care, inpatient care, and national highly specialized care for both adults, children, and adolescents. Do you want to work with and learn more about patients with eating disorders?

We offer you, as a trained nurse, an stimulating and pleasant workplace where the patient is at the center. You will initially receive training in our treatment methods, followed by further development and supervision based on needs. We provide standard eating disorder care and have since December 1, 2023, operated national highly specialized care (NHV) for patients with complex eating disorders combined with psychiatric comorbidity. Job Responsibilities:

As a day nurse, you have a central, coordinating role where you ensure continuity and high quality of care during weekdays. You work closely with management on improvement work and support colleagues in their daily development. We also care for patients under the LPT (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), where participation in coercive measures is part of the job duties. The role also includes working with tube feeding if necessary. Your main areas of responsibility are:

• Coordination and leadership: You plan and distribute the ward's daily work in consultation with the charge nurse and staffing assistant. You are responsible for ensuring that checklists, care plans, and "to-do lists" are followed and kept up to date.
• Clinical work and rounds: You actively participate in rounds and reporting, are responsible for medication management, and participate in admission interviews and potential coercive measures.
• Quality assurance: You ensure safe, person-centered care and are responsible for handling patient-related documentation (e.g., in Lifecare and LPT documents) correctly.
• Administration and planning: You handle the logistics regarding admissions and discharges, update bed lists, and ensure that information flows correctly between different professional groups, such as kitchen assistants and medical secretaries.
• Training and introduction: You act as a support for your colleagues and actively contribute to introducing and developing the competence of new staff.

Employment type and working hours:

The position is a permanent appointment in the basic role of nurse with a task as a day nurse that runs for one year at a time.

Full-time 40 hours/week, 07:30-16:00.

Qualifications:

You are a licensed nurse with preferably at least five years of experience. You have held a similar leadership role and have previously worked in psychiatric care and/or with patients with eating disorders. Experience working with children and young people is meritorious. Experience in somatic care, knowledge of TakeCare and LifeCare, and completed Bergen training are also considered meritorious.
