Do you want to make a difference in people's daily lives and be part of an engaged and interdisciplinary team? We are now looking for a licensed psychologist who wants to contribute to developing and strengthening psychological competence within primary care.

Job Responsibilities

The role involves psychological counseling (CBT), diagnostics, short-term treatment (approx. 5–10 visits/patient), and handling incoming and outgoing referrals. Treatment is provided both in groups and individually.

At the health center, we work with triage, meaning the psychologist is responsible for the initial assessment of mental ill-health. You will need to be able to assess and initiate ADHD investigations, among other things. You will work independently with adults from the age of 18 and collaborate with other professional categories at the health center. Supervision and training assignments for other staff may occur. As a psychologist, you will be part of our psychosocial team, consisting of a psychologist, REKO (Rehabilitation Coordinator), and a physician.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist/psychotherapist with good knowledge of diagnostics and evidence-based treatment methods. It is an advantage if you have a few years of experience working at a health center and are familiar with the primary care mandate.

You have good structure in your work, strong initiative, and high flexibility. To be successful in your work, it is required that you contribute to good patient flows at the health center through, among other things, interdisciplinary work.

We place great emphasis on your ability to work independently, work well in a team, and have a good ability and willingness to develop the operations. We also place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Here, everything is under one roof. We have specialist doctors in general medicine, trainee doctors, district nurses, nurses, assistant nurses, and psychologists. The clinic has just over 8,500 registered patients. Our common goal is to offer good and close care to all patients with engagement, empathy, and competence, and to be a pleasant workplace for all our wonderful employees.
