Your role

As a dentist with us, you will play a central role in providing health-promoting and preventive dental care for all Stockholmers. You are the team's specialist in oral diagnostics and are responsible for the long-term holistic assessment of the patient's oral health.

Folktandvården Stockholm provides safe, high-quality care with excellent service, which permeates the daily work at the clinic. In this role, you will work on everything from simple examinations to more advanced treatments.

At Folktandvården Vällingby, one of Folktandvården Stockholm's largest clinics, approximately 40 employees work in modern premises with 25 treatment rooms. The clinic has broad competence, including a prosthodontist, a seconded endodontist, and a dentist with special competence in oral surgery who is currently studying part-time at the Eastman Institute's department of oral and maxillofacial surgery. There is also a team working with nitrous oxide sedation.

The clinic is centrally located in Vällingby Centre with good transport links, proximity to the metro and buses, as well as good parking facilities and several restaurants in the area.

What you need to succeed

We are looking for licensed dentists, preferably with 2-3 years of experience in all areas of general dentistry, who are accustomed to working with both adults and children. For you, high-quality dental care is a given, as is a professional approach to both customers and colleagues. You are trustworthy and maintain a high service level. You have very good communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and other languages are an advantage. As a person, you are positive even in challenging situations and strive to develop effective solutions. We highly value your personal qualities.

Employment

Apply by 28 June 2026. We are seeking two dentists: one permanent full-time position and one full-time temporary position (17 August to 31 December). A probationary period may be applicable for the permanent position. Selection is ongoing, and the first step in the recruitment process is a personality test and a problem-solving test. Please attach your CV and a copy of your license to the application. If you have worked for us before, we will take references from your clinic manager.

For the interview, you must be able to prove your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to show a valid work permit, or documentation showing that you are exempt from the requirement. To be considered for employment, a successful pre-employment health examination is also required.
