Your Role

At Folktandvården Stockholm, you play a vital role in our work to provide health-promoting and preventive dental care for Stockholmers of all ages. You perform examinations and identify, plan, assess, and implement individually tailored oral health care interventions, with a focus on the treatment of periodontal diseases.

At Folktandvården in Vällingby, you will work in a developing and collaborative environment together with approximately 40 employees at a modern clinic with 25 treatment rooms. The clinic has broad competence in oral surgery, with a dentist part-time pursuing further education in maxillofacial surgery at the Easman Institute, as well as specialist dentists in prosthodontics and endodontics. There is also a team working with nitrous oxide treatment, along with three additional dental hygienists, creating great opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The clinic is located in the heart of Vällingby center, close to the subway, buses, and parking facilities. The area features restaurants, shops, and gyms.

What you need to succeed

We are looking for you who are a licensed dental hygienist with a degree from a dental hygiene program and preferably a few years of experience in the profession, where other dental care background is meritorious. You have very good communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and additional language skills are seen as meritorious. Good computer skills in Office and experience with the T4 medical record system are meritorious.

High-quality dental care is a given for you, as is a professional and warm approach towards both patients and colleagues. As a person, you are positive, solution-oriented, and confident even in challenging situations. You are open to feedback and see it as a natural part of your development and learning. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Selection is ongoing, and the first step in the recruitment process is a personality test and a problem-solving test. Please attach your CV and a copy of your license to the application. If you have previously worked for us, we will take references from your clinic manager.

For the interview, you must be able to prove your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to show a valid work permit, or documentation showing that you are exempt from the requirement. To be considered for employment, a successful pre-employment health examination is also required.
