About Noblaskolan Solna

Noblaskolan Solna is a school with a good reputation and many children on the waiting list.

Noblaskolan is located in Frösunda in Solna, right next to Äppelträdgården at Lilla Frösunda. We have 16 classes from preschool to grade 9 and a total of approximately 450 students. At the school, we have after-school centers and mixed-age after-school clubs during afternoons and holidays.

Our primary goal is that every student should learn as much as possible and that they should feel good and safe.

At Noblaskolan, we actively work with community and cohesion through several different traditions. One of these is our formal Noblalunch, during which we award the Nobel Prize in the categories of Literature, Art, Design, and Interdisciplinary.

Feel free to visit our website and Facebook page for more information about us.

Job Responsibilities

As a school nurse, the work is primarily health-promoting and preventive. The overarching goal is that all students should have the opportunity to meet the approved knowledge requirements in school. As a school nurse, you are part of a consolidated student health team at the school and work closely with school doctors, special education teachers, psychologists, counselors, and the principal. A consolidated student health team should support students' development towards the goals of education.

The school nurse's assignment includes conventional school nurse tasks that are important parts of the work mentioned above.

Health visits and the open reception are important parts of ensuring that every student receives the support they need in school.

Other tasks include vaccinations according to the general vaccination program.

Qualifications

You must be a licensed nurse and have specialized education in health and medical care for children and adolescents or open health and medical care. If you have previous experience working with children and adolescents as well as experience as a school nurse, this is considered an asset. The work requires good computer skills.

As a person, you should be structured and meticulous, enjoy working in cross-professional teams, and be somewhat of an entrepreneur—a person who thrives on creating and taking own initiatives. You have a strong drive for health-promoting work, creating a school environment that is positive, tolerant, and safe, as well as working continuously to create good relationships at all levels.

Employment Terms

Permanent position, 80-100% with start date as agreed. Possibility for both vacation and leave of absence.
