Do you want to deepen your expertise in a specific area of child and adolescent psychiatry? We are looking for a licensed psychologist for BUP Internet Treatment, perhaps the world's first internet-based treatment unit for children and young people.
BUP Internet Treatment is a relatively new activity within BUP and the result of several years of successful research in the field. The unit's purpose is to provide internet-mediated treatment to children and young people. As an employee here, you have great opportunities to influence the clinic's work and work closely with research.
Job Responsibilities
Together with a small team of psychologists and administrators, you will work with child psychiatric assessment and internet-mediated cognitive behavioral therapy. Currently, we offer treatment for children and adolescents with anxiety disorders and functional stomach pains, as well as the parent support program iKomet. We also participate in a clinical research project regarding treatment for adolescents with self-harm behavior. At the clinic, we all help each other to continuously improve the unit's routines and processes.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed psychologist with a focus on CBT and experience working with children and young people. It is meritorious to have previous experience working with i-CBT for children and young people, within child psychiatry, or with adolescents with self-harm behavior.

About Us
BUP Internet Unit is part of BUP Stockholm. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and young people aged 0 to 17 in Stockholm County. We are part of the Stockholm County Council Healthcare Area (SLSO), which is a healthcare provider within Region Stockholm. Together, we are approximately 1,200 employees who meet over 25,000 children, young people, and their families every year.
The position is filled subject to the condition that it does not need to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.
In patient-oriented work within the Stockholm County Council Healthcare Area (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
- Swedish professional licensure is required, as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
