Assignment Description

A major Nordic operation is embarking on a comprehensive development journey within procurement, contract management, and business control, coinciding with the implementation of new business and contract processes. To support this change initiative, we are looking for a senior consultant with documented experience in procurement transformation, PO compliance, and contract management.

The assignment focuses on increasing compliance with procurement processes, reducing off-contract purchasing, strengthening governance and responsibility allocation, and contributing to sustainable change in preparation for upcoming system and process changes. The role combines strategic improvement work with operational execution and close collaboration with business units, procurement, and finance.

Example of Tasks:

• Map the current state and analyze compliance with procurement processes.
• Identify causes of deviations and purchases outside agreed working methods.
• Evaluate maturity levels in contract management, responsibility allocation, and governance.
• Lead workshops and coordinate dialogue between various stakeholders.
• Develop prioritized improvement proposals and an actionable change plan.
• Support pilot activities, follow-up, and implementation of selected initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in procurement, Procure-to-Pay, contract management, or procurement transformation.
• Extensive practical experience in improving PO compliance and reducing purchases outside established processes.
• Documented experience with SAP-based procurement flows, preferably in modern ERP environments.
• Ability to conduct current state analyses and translate results into concrete improvement measures.
• Experience in close collaboration with business units, procurement, finance, and supplier-related functions.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP transformations and major business changes.
• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management solutions.
• Background from complex or decentralized organizations.
• Experience with supplier dialogues related to invoicing and purchase orders.
