Description

Do you want to be part of developing the future Gislaved Municipality? We are looking for a Development Manager within process and project management for the Quality and Development unit in the Business Control and IT department.
In this role, you work across the municipality to drive development initiatives, lead projects, and support operations in change and improvement work. You will become an important part of the municipality's work to develop working methods, strengthen the quality of operations, and create conditions for an efficient and sustainable organization.
The position involves many contact surfaces and close collaboration with the municipality's managers, operations, companies, and external actors. You will have the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally on issues of great significance for the municipality's development.
Job Responsibilities
As a Development Manager, you are responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting municipality-wide development and change work.
The responsibilities include, among other things:
- Leading and coordinating projects and development efforts within the municipality.
- Driving and developing cross-functional processes and working methods.
- Supporting operations in improvement and change work.
- Developing and managing methods, models, and tools for project and process management.
- Planning, implementing, and following up on development efforts.
- Conducting analyses and investigations and preparing decision support materials.
- Facilitating workshops, meetings, and development processes.
- Contributing to the municipality's work with business development, quality, and digitalization.
- Collaborating with departments, municipal companies, and external partners.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- An academic education in social sciences, public administration, organization, project management, economics, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
- Experience in leading projects, change work, or development processes in a large organization.
- Good ability to analyze complex issues and translate them into concrete solutions.
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience working in municipal or other public operations.
- Experience in process mapping and process development.
- Experience in change management and business development.
- Knowledge within quality work, steering, and follow-up.
- Experience with analysis tools such as Power BI or other decision support systems.
- Experience in leading workshops and development forums.
You have a broad interest in society and a good ability to create structure, engagement, and participation in development work. You are analytical, proactive, and have an easy time building trusting relationships. The role requires that you can work independently while also enjoying collaborating across organizational boundaries.
Your work performance is deeply linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in the development of yourself and the operations.
