Do you want to contribute to sharper analyses and financial recommendations that strengthen our competitiveness and customer benefit? We are now looking for a Business Controller for the External Business area.

In this role, you have overall responsibility for financial follow-up, analysis, and decision support for the business area, working closely with the Business Area Manager to challenge, develop, and drive the business forward. You improve financial management and profitability by working with key performance indicators (KPIs), calculations, forecasts, budgets, and cost awareness. You also ensure regulatory compliance and that reporting accurately reflects financial results. Your insights become important foundations for both operational and strategic decisions. The role has a particularly important task during 2026 related to the planned transition of the External Business area to Snabbgross on January 1, 2027. During the year, you will build an understanding of the business area's business model, system support, customer agreements, revenue and cost drivers, as well as reporting and forecasting processes. The goal is for you to be well-versed at the time of the transition and able to independently drive financial management, follow-up, and business support for the area within Snabbgross.

The role belongs to Dagab Finance and reports to the Head of Business Partnering during 2026. You will work closely with the External Business area, Dagab's finance function, and relevant key personnel to ensure a structured introduction to the operations, processes, and systems. From January 1, 2027, the role will report to the Snabbgross Finance Manager.

This is a role for you who wants to work close to the business, take significant responsibility, and be a crucial bridge between Dagab and Snabbgross in a change that is strategically important for both operations.

Main Responsibilities

As a Business Controller, you play a central role in steering, following up on, and developing the business area's finances. You act as a close support to the Business Area Manager and leadership, and are responsible for producing analyses, reports, and forecasts that provide the business with the right decision support.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a support to the Business Area Manager and leadership on financial matters.
  • Responsible for reporting, analysis, and presentation of the business area's results and KPIs.
  • Translating the business area's strategic and operational initiatives into financial impacts.
  • Leading and coordinating the business area's forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Developing financial management within the business area, for example through new KPIs and follow-up models.
  • Identifying and implementing profitability, cost, and revenue analyses to drive improvement areas and business opportunities.
  • Evaluating investments, business cases, and different scenarios to support decision-making.
  • Responsible for financial analyses in connection with contract negotiations with external customers.
  • Participate in external customer meetings as needed and contribute with a financial perspective, profitability analysis, and recommendations.
  • Contribute to creating structure, documentation, and knowledge transfer ahead of the transition to Snabbgross.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership to strengthen financial understanding within the business area.

What We Expect

We are looking for someone who is business-driven, analytical, and thrives in a role close to operations. You have the ability to quickly get up to speed with new business models, system flows, and commercial connections, and you thrive in a role where you drive analysis and contribute to concrete business decisions.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be self-reliant, structured, and proactive. You have a strong interest in the operations behind the numbers and can translate complex information into clear insights, recommendations, and priorities. You are also confident in collaborating with multiple stakeholders and can create momentum in an environment where both business and organization are under development.

We believe you have:

  • A relevant academic degree in economics, finance, business administration, or equivalent.
  • Several years of experience working as a Business Controller, Financial Controller, or similar qualified finance role.
  • Very strong analytical skills and experience working with complex data, KPIs, and financial models.

  • Good system proficiency, especially in Excel, as well as experience with BI tools and financial systems.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, follow-up, and monthly reporting.
  • Ability to work independently, structured, and proactively with great drive.
