NCC's Civil Sweden South/West division specializes in major infrastructure projects such as tunnels, roads, and railways, as well as projects involving complex concrete structures for clients, primarily within the public sector. The Civil Sweden West/South division is growing rapidly, and we are now looking for a Department Controller with a focus on financial management for our Civil South/East department.

You are someone interested in complex work involving extensive information gathering, skilled in analysis, drawing conclusions, and acting on them.

We see that you are confident in your professional role and enjoy working independently with significant responsibility in dialogue with the Division Controller. The role involves many contact points and extensive collaboration with others, requiring an interest in teamwork and building good relationships.

In the role of Department Controller, you contribute to creating success and added value for the business. You are part of a team with other controllers, where your main tasks involve, together with the Division Controller, driving and improving outcome and forecast reporting, result monitoring, financial management, and key performance indicator tracking for the department and its projects.

As a Department Controller, you have close dialogue with the Department Manager and other department leadership regarding financial matters. Within the scope of business controlling, you will actively support, analyze, and monitor the business. You are responsible for the financial management within the department. Furthermore, you support business owners in forecasting and monitoring work and conduct financial training, primarily for production staff.

You report to our Division Controller.

NCC Infrastructure is a Nordic business area with a turnover of approx. 18 billion, driving everything from small to large and complex projects. Our work covers the entire chain from design and construction to the production of roads, railways, tunnels, bridges, ports, wastewater treatment plants, and wind power plants.

Finance is an independent support function interacting with other staff functions, such as Legal and Project Management.

You have an academic degree in economics or equivalent and a few years of experience from a business-oriented role as a controller or from similar tasks. Experience in processing information from various business systems and being a proficient user of Excel and PowerPoint is a requirement.

Experience from the construction industry and work in production projects, as well as knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting, is meritorious.

As a person, you are analytical with critical thinking, structured, and result-oriented, and are accustomed to working independently to develop and implement relevant analyses at the business level.

You are accustomed to achieving success in your work by networking and collaborating with others and communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

The position is a permanent placement at NCC's office in Jönköping. Travel occurs in the role, and a B-driver's license is required. Candidates for the position will undergo background checks in accordance with NCC's security culture.
