Do you have ideas for the future and are you driven by challenges? In Haninge, you will develop alongside supportive colleagues who want to make a difference today. Currently, one of the most ambitious change processes in our municipality's history is underway. We are building a new city, approximately 20 minutes from the South. Join us on this journey.

Welcome to develop with us

Tungelsta School is "the school in the middle of the village," a rural idyll in the southern part of Haninge Municipality. We are within a convenient commuting distance to Stockholm City, approximately 30 minutes by car or commuter train. The school is a short walk from the station. The school's vision is:

Tungelsta School is organized into year-group-based work teams (Pre-school Class to Year 9). Each work team is led by a development leader. At the school, we have just over 650 students and approximately 70 employees. Everyone in the team is involved in the students' best interests, and we hold the attitude that all children do their best when they can. At Tungelsta School, we are constantly discussing school development to achieve higher results and increased equity.

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in Swedish and English, and preferably more subjects. You have experience teaching students in need of special support. You are accustomed to meeting students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF)/vulnerabilities and see the individual behind the diagnosis/disability. You have solid knowledge of how we can work together to develop a good learning environment. You are a clear and secure leader who, with joy and creativity, focuses on the students' learning and well-being.

You will work in a team with another teacher and a resource pedagogue. You will teach students in a smaller teaching group. You share our joy in seeing the students grow; both as individuals from a social perspective and academically!

We want you to use your knowledge and experience to optimize the students' opportunities for a successful school career.

The position is a fixed-term appointment as the regular teacher is on study leave. If you have questions about the position, you can contact Deputy Principal Maje Morad, [email protected].

Apply today!

In this recruitment process, we have already made our choices of advertising channels and cooperation partners. We politely but firmly decline all forms of assistance with the recruitment from outside parties.

Haninge Municipality sees diversity as a strength and welcomes all applicants. Our competency-based recruitment methodology aims to focus on the individual's competence and thereby also counteract discrimination.
