You are welcome to apply for the position of Support Assistant at Group Housing Yngligagatan, where we work with users receiving support under the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Responsibilities

Providing support and service according to the user's individual needs and wishes as per implementation plans. You carry out day-to-day, planned support measures and activities together with the user. The support measures should promote the user's integrity and participation and are carried out with respect for the user's self-determination. The user's needs must be at the center, and the person's views should be actively taken into account. The user should receive support and the right to determine their own life and develop their abilities to live as independently as possible. The work is based on a pedagogical and motivating approach in close collaboration with the user's network and other staff.

Low-affective approach (calm and non-reactive interaction).

The responsibilities also include habilitation, IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health and medical care tasks.

The work may, if necessary, also be performed at other workplaces/units.

Qualifications

Nursing and care program or other education providing nurse assistant competence, as well as good computer skills. The position requires good teamwork skills, flexibility, and independence.

We would appreciate it if you have competence within autism and clear/structured pedagogy.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Conditions

From July 1, 2023, "nurse assistant" (undersköterska) is a protected professional title, and one must apply for a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title.

To be employed, you need to present an extract from the police criminal record (form 442.3 – control of own information according to Section 9, Paragraph 1). You order the extract via the police website: polisen.se (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret).

You must have approved grades in Swedish in both speech and writing.

Interviews may take place during the application period.

The Care Administration is responsible for our elderly, people with disabilities, and the municipality's home care. The administration also works with rehabilitation and prevention so that our citizens can live a good life throughout their lives.
