Teacher for the Construction Programme

We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable teacher for the Construction and Civil Engineering Programme with a specialization in Wood or Masonry. It is an advantage if you have both specializations, but if your specialization is masonry, you are expected to have broad knowledge of construction to support and teach students in basic modules of the construction education.

You will teach students in both theory and practice and work closely with other teachers on the construction programme. Therefore, we would like you to have broad construction competence and be willing to support in the construction hall when needed. You are flexible, cooperative, and thrive working in a team. As a teacher, you conduct yourself in a way that makes you a role model for the participants, sharing your professional knowledge both theoretically and practically.

Movant AB works with practical vocational training for adults, competence development, and labor market assignments. On behalf of several different municipalities, we conduct practical vocational training for adults.

Formal qualifications:

We are looking for you who have pedagogical experience and who work or have worked as a carpenter or mason and hold a professional certificate. You enjoy working in a group, and it is important that you have the ability and willingness to develop people by sharing your professional knowledge. We would appreciate it if you had experience in training or leading work and had good knowledge of the specialization, both theoretically and practically. The job also involves sourcing workplace-based learning (APL) placements for students and following up with our partner companies.

A teaching degree and teaching experience are meritorious.

Your personality is characterized by good cooperation skills and flexibility. You have the ability to build good relationships with everyone you meet in your work. As an educator, you give participants a strong belief in their ability to achieve individual and common goals together. You work for a learning and innovative climate and are careful to give participants feedback on their results. Quality and a good value base are important keywords for you.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
