We are now looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades 7-9 in Mathematics/Natural Sciences (Ma/NO). At Elinelundsskolan, you are offered a developing assignment where you are part of the process of creating a well-functioning F-9 school together with the school management and the student health team. Your assignment also includes mentorship. In your role as a mentor, you have specific responsibility for a group of students, through which you get the opportunity to follow their knowledge development and personal maturity more closely.

In your assignment, it may also become relevant to have mentorship towards some of our students. As a mentor, you inform and keep the student's guardians informed about the student's study development through regular development meetings.

Qualifications

You who apply are a certified teacher with eligibility for teaching in grades 7-9 in Ma/NO. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we see it as an advantage. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's steering documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. We are looking for you who are a skilled leader in the classroom and have the ability to create a good learning environment. You have good pedagogical and didactic skills. You are independent and lead yourself to development by analyzing and reflecting on your own teaching and results.

You always start from the student's needs and strive for increased goal fulfillment. In your work, you use proven experience and a scientific approach. To fit into Elinelundsskolan, you should be good at creating good and sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We value above all your ability to find solutions to complex problems together with colleagues.

About the workplace

The newly built school is located in the middle of an emerging new city district in the southern parts of Malmö, an area located between Limhamn and Hyllie. Elinelundsskolan has an exciting location with a nature-near location next to the large limestone quarry, and the learning environments create very good conditions for teaching and learning. We offer a new and beautiful building with airy modern premises. The school has workrooms for staff and group rooms for all home classrooms. The school is located in beautiful surroundings at the edge of the Limhamn limestone quarry with a beautiful view of the Öresund Bridge and Elinelundsgården and its park just behind. The school year 2026/2027, Elinelundsskolan will cover a operation for around 750 students in grades F-9. The goal for the operation is "Every student's best school" which we work with by finding strategies for each student and strengthening this in both knowledge development and personal development, in school and in after-school care. On our new school, we work towards a common vision in all our processes with a focus on, among other things, leadership in the classroom, joint planning, and joint assessment. We see that you have experience working in a language-developing way and that you have a broad repertoire of methods to reach the students in your subjects. To create a whole for the student, you will be part of a driven subject team that is well established, where you develop together, so it is important that you thrive with us and that you have a good time together with your colleagues.
